So......... I thought my deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan at the Role 3 hospital in 2011-12 would be my last. Silly me! As many of you know, I received my call up to deploy again with the Navy Reserve back in October of 2017. Although there were many times Steph and I were not sure it would actually happen, I finally received my official
orders in March. I had a great farewell party with many friends and family members on Cinco de Mayo! Thank you all. Here I am on May 6th, leaving home and family again, in the same pose as my return from AFG just over six years ago. I will miss you all and look forward to seeing you all upon my return.
